Halloween Ghast Fest: "The Absinthe Club"

Ron Breznay's short story "The Absinthe Club" is one of two we selected for our 2009 Halloween ghast fest.

"Three young men are visited by ghosts of Halloween past."

Ron Breznay has a long-running monthly column at Hellnotes, entitled "The Old Masters of Horror," which is a survey of the life and work of classic horror writers. Past columns have covered Edgar Allan Poe, H.P. Lovecraft, Arthur Machen, Shirley Jackson, Bram Stoker, and others. Look for his story "The Devil's Vein" in an upcoming issue of Inhuman, a magazine of horror fiction.

Ron is a member of the Horror Writers Association, the Coal Region Book Nook, and the Mid Atlantic Horror Professionals. He was born in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, where he now resides.
