Welcome to day 8 of our 2007 Halloween Ghast Fest featuring members of the Australian Horror Writers Association.

This year, David Conyers joins us for the first time. His story “As Above, So Below,” is read by Alan Chaney. “As Above, So Below” was originally published in Secrets of Kenya, Chaosium Inc. 2007.

David Conyers is an Australian author residing in Adelaide. His science fiction has been short-listed for the Aeon, Aurealis, and Ditmar Awards, while his dark fiction has appeared in numerous anthologies including Agog! Ripping Reads, The Black Book of Horror, Arkham Tales, Hardboiled Cthulhu, Horrors Beyond, and Macabre. David’s first novel, The Spiraling Worm, co-authored with John Sunseri, was published in 2007. He also wrote “Secrets of Kenya” for the Call of Cthulhu role-playing game. This year David won the Australian Horror Writers Association’s Flash Fiction Award.
